All aspects of types and sizes of Dutch Ovens available, set up, use of coals, and cooking times will be covered. By popular demand, we will be dedicating this entire seminar to the complete water system of the RV. Areas covered will include the fresh, potable, and waste water systems of the entire RV. Along with this, we will discuss regular and "green friendly" additives for your fresh and waste water systems, water filtration options, water softening equipment for weekend and full time camping, the new Girard tankless hot water heater that is available as a conversion for any new or used RV, and helpful hints to avoid odor and potential clogs in your system. OCTOBER 11TH ~ LP GAS, 110 ELECTRIC, 12 VOLT ELECTRIC, GENERATOR, OH MY....!!!
Get you notepad ready for this informative and educational seminar that will be covering all systems available and required to power your RV. This is one of the topics that we get the most questions about from customers. Everyone can get a little confused regarding 110 electric, 12 volt battery, and lp gas in terms of what source powers what items. Included will be discussions on what type of power is necessary to operate the various appliances and customer items in their rv, surge control protection options for your appliances and electronics in the RV, basic troubleshooting, and how long each power source will last while camping. In addition, we will be discussing the available options of portable and on board generators available to those who do alot of remote camping. NOVEMBER 8TH ~ MINNESOTA TOWING LAWS
By request from our customers, we will be covering the many questions regarding current up-to-date towing laws in the state of Minnesota. Topics will include: overall length restrictions, towing in tri-combination (ie: boats or trailers), laws regarding passengers in towed units, tow mirror requirements, weight requirements and restrictions, brake control requirements, and traveling out of state. DECEMBER 13TH ~ HOLIDAY GET TOGETHER!!
Join us for this fun event in lieu of a seminar! This month we will be having this event as a way to get together with fellow camping enthusiats to talk about and/or share photos of their 2011 RVing adventures!! Bring your favorite camping desert to pass along with the recipie to share with others. Also, bring a "White Elephant Gift" if you would like to participate in the gift exchange game. We will once again be involved with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. If anyone wishes to drop off a gift for a child, we will make sure to deliver it to them. The mission of the program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the local community. We will also have treats, refreshments, and a FREE Christmas Gift Bag for all those who attend!!
